Life is like joining a masquerade ball.

Last Friday I was at the at the event called "Masquerade Turca"  Hycroft  Mansion at the University Women's Club of Vancouver . This was well prepared event which was organised by Get2Gether event. From organisers to guests this was an remarkable event and an unforgettable night.

Masquerade symbolises kindness, respect, discovery, persistence, accepting others, overcoming obstacles, believing in yourself. Please  remember that life itself is an obstacle race. No matter where you are born; your age or the kind of job that you do, we all have to face different obstacles during our lives. You decide if you look at these obstacles as problems or perceive them as challenges to grow. Every obstacle is a challenge where you require certain skills to overcome the obstacle .

The partially hidden face might make it harder for you to distinguish the person.You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view.Until you climb into his skin and walk around in it.

We all know we shouldn’t judge people based on their looks. Beauty is only skin-deep, as the saying goes. Moreover, someone’s appearance doesn’t tell us anything about how kind they are. But it’s hard to ignore the way a person looks. Something about attractive people makes us want to watch them. 

At the party there was a best dress contest and I was the part of selection committee. Judges are Dr. Nilufer Moayeri, Huriye Sefayi, Aurera Laci, Sinem Akin for the best dress contest. 

We are honored to have world famous artist Dr. Nilufer Moayeri's art exhibition at the party.
