Happy Women's day, Tuesday, March 8 "Proud to be Women"

International Women’s Day is an important time for us to pause, reflect, and focus on what gender equality looks like within our daily interactions.  A woman is the most beautiful and unique creation of God with a heart full of love and affection. But they have often been abused for their outer look, which is the most unfortunate thing ever. The only way to solve the problem of women’s subordination is to change people’s mindset and to plant the new idea of gender equality into every mind. 

Another easy way to bring awareness to women's rights is to dress accordingly. Similarly, the colors you choose to wear on International Women’s Day especially will carry an unspoken meaning that’s louder than words.

We encourage girls to go and conquer the world but are we teaching the boys basic life skills, are we telling them that it is fine to express emotions? No one gender can grow alone, but have to grow and evolve together. While the women movements must continue to lead the drive for gender equality, we also need to engage boys and young men to achieve gender equality. Gender equality begins at home and families are at the forefront of change. Talking to kids about equality between the two sexes and what can be done to accomplish gender equal world is important. Embracing diversity means accepting differences in others and participating tolerance.  

To all the women in the world who are reading this blog, never doubt that you are valuable and powerful, and deserving of every chance and opportunity in the world to pursue and achieve your own dreams.
