There is something the
most stylish ladies of Vancouver have in common. When
they get dressed their looks are refined and polished. The
Vancouver Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2018 this year will
take place from March 19 to 25, 2018 at the David Lam Hall in downtown Vancouver. Once again I am excited to be part of this showcase.
It’s one thing to read about
the latest fashion trends for fall and winter but sometimes, it’s a
whole other style story when it comes to figuring out how to style, and wear
them in real life. This year at the VFW one of my favourite designer was Melissa Yin who designed her clothes all in leather impressed me the most. She used main three colors on her collection. Her clothes can be used both casual and formal occasions. Bold red is complemented with cream, yellow and black shades in the F/W18 collection of Mellisa.
Designer Azam Rezahosseini who studied at fashion at LaSalle College used fall colors very successfully. On her clothing everything you can imagine is real and creative.Skirts are my favourite because it makes me feel confident and feminine.
Designer Pariah used nostalgic patterns on the fabrics to give them a smooth touch. She has a strong fashion aestethetic.
Some other designers at the show is Queenie Zoe by Bomin Kim, Miranda Watson and and Bia Boro. Bia Boro translates to the rhytmical patterns of life.Miranda Watsons wearable garments contribute to sustunable fashion through the use of eco friendly and recycled fabrics.
#VFW2018 has arrived and is already giving so much to look forward. Shows, chatwalks and parties take place right accross the Vancouver. Please keep me following and for more updates on Vancouver Fashion Week.
