How to Travel in Style; Trilye

Hi ! You can call me Angel! I live in Vancouver Canada and I love to travel. Summer and early fall are the best times to pack up your vehicle for a road trip in Turkey. On a sunny autumn afternoon, I pulled into the Bursa’s seaside village of Tirilye looking for lunch with a view. Located within the province of Bursa, Trilye is still quite the hidden destination for many foreign visitors. Trilye was known as Brylleion in Greek. During this golden age, the town’s most important structure also came to life: the Byzantine Haghioi Theodoroi Church, which is currently known as the Fatih Mosque.
Vacations are a time when we leave our worries at home, escaping and immersing ourselves in a new environment. It’s no wonder then that many travellers feel more confident while on vacation than at home. As far as style goes, so long as you pack clothing you feel great wearing then you will be stylish. Style is a matter of confidence, not fashion. Wear something fitted or well tailored and you instantly feel good no matter what shape or size you are. When traveling in other countries  with a conservative dress code for women but still comes with scorching temperatures, I like to go for natural fibers. Cotton, silk, and linen are my best friends. Anything synthetic makes me more sweaty and just doesn’t feel nice on my skin. I love wearing long cotton dresses. They are breezy and extremely comfortable in hot temperatures while still modest enough to visit public places and to not attract too much unwanted attention. And if you still don’t know what to pack, then buy clothes at the spot.

Tirilye houses are generally made of wood, adobe and mostly built as three-story structures. The houses reflect Byzantine and Greek architecture. Before leaving Trilye, makes sure try to  fish and locally produced olives. Indeed some say that the name Trilye derives from its olives.
