I fell in love with Lynden this year. Lynden is
home to Washington State’s largest Dutch
settlement and is the heart of the region’s farmland. It was a clean town where people were proud of their heritage. Lynden is more Dutch than Holland
itself.😊
Lynden is known
for hearty food and bakeries. The beautiful Inn at Lynden, formerly a
department store, you can enjoy a wonderful breakfast and fresh bakery goods at Avenue Bread. I ate their hash & spinach omelette and bought their unique
sourdough bread. You won’t be disappointed.
Lynden may not
be large, but it's home to some surprisingly sophisticated boutique hotels.
I looked out the window from my room at
the Homestead Resort. The sky was tar-black and the large clouds were moving
towards me. People ran for cover outside and umbrellas were opened as the
clouds spat out their beads of water. The hotel is located close to Homestead Golf
& Country Club. After a round of golf on this beautiful course,
enjoy a meal at the onsite restaurant and stay in the Resort. A porch swing gives a perfect place
to chill and cozy fireplaces where you can kick back and get comfortable after
a long day.
Great articles and messages Huriye.. Love your blog !!! xoxoxo
